RDownloader ("we", "us", "our") operates rdownloader.com. This page explains what data we collect when you use the service and how we handle it. We believe in keeping this simple and honest.

Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service:

• IP address — used only for rate limiting (maximum 10 requests per minute) to prevent abuse. Not stored permanently.
• Reddit URLs you submit — processed in real-time to fetch video information. We do not store or log submitted URLs after the request completes.

We do not require account registration, collect email addresses, use tracking cookies, or sell any data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Cloudflare

Our site is served through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata as part of its infrastructure and DDoS protection services. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our download API from automated abuse. Turnstile runs a privacy-preserving challenge that does not set tracking cookies or use fingerprinting.

Google Fonts

We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Cloudflare may set security-related cookies as part of its infrastructure.

Downloaded Content

RDownloader provides direct links to video files hosted on Reddit's servers (v.redd.it). We do not host, store, or transcode any video content. All downloads go directly from Reddit's CDN to your device.

Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
